Spider-Webs
From the desk of Vitasta
Time: I keep getting caught between the whirlpools of my own device.
I wish I could tell you something about myself,
But my self is just a step away from slipping,
That in my youth, I led a rebellion,
And that we were all so very brave.
I want to tell you that we stopped the war,
But beyond that I don't remember much,
Just those little bottles of flavoured vodka,
And the bon-fires of our desert camps.
Did you know the Agave flowers,
Bloom every twenty years or so,
And that time only measures duration,
There is no valour in getting old.
